Warnings
« on: December 30, 2012, 05:42:17 pm »
Does anyone know if the gti has a limited top speed, like say an M3 which is 155mph (I think)?

Also, does anyone know if the gti has a low washer fluid warning light?
Sadly, I've been looking at this:
http://www.begoodtoyourvw.com/service/dashboard-indicator-lights/

I have a feeling some of these are more recent warnings that VW have come up with and are not applicable to the Mk5.
DSG transmission too hot warning light?  :popcornsoda:

Cheers

I think you only get the low fluid warning when you have the bigger washer bottle that goes with headlamp washers.

+1. Either it came as part of the winter pack or as part of xenons package.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

A standard GTi won't reach 155mph, will only reach 146mph.

Proof before I'm called a lier.

146mph actual is probably about 160mph indicated

There is no electronic restriction on either the GTI or Ed.30

This, except it was filmed on a calculator:
