Completely upto you. I'll PM you in the morning as knackered.com. Don't pay it. Whether you ""appeal"" is netheir here nor there. Even if the appeal is rejected at stage 1 and 2 it doesn't move away from the fact that their basis for invoicing you is completely flawed.

I used to get angry when i received one from private companies after some research i ignored any that comes thru the post now, as its a breach of contract not a fine or a breach of law legislations or regulations or rules :)

Ok, I was just planning on ignoring them anyway but was interested in the response you mentioned.
