FYI - got my first of many 'you haven't paid letters'!!

However, if you want to try and appeal, let me know as I have a response that will most probably get the 'invoice' cancelled.

I received mine last Thurs/Fri. Do we just ignore all these? What's the response you mention?

Would be interested as well.  :happy2:

Completely upto you. I'll PM you in the morning as knackered.com. Don't pay it. Whether you ""appeal"" is netheir here nor there. Even if the appeal is rejected at stage 1 and 2 it doesn't move away from the fact that their basis for invoicing you is completely flawed.

Ok, I was just planning on ignoring them anyway but was interested in the response you mentioned.

Just recieved my first outstanding parking charge amount, aparently they have the right to recover the charge from me lol they will get sod all out of me, £100 for half hour what a joke. Suppose I better waste my effort and put it in the bin. Still abit pissed that the dvla are allowed to give out all you info for money.

I got mine a few weeks back. They have no right to recover any money as it stands and their empty threats do not help their cause! You can appeal their demands, for which they have to pay £35, and then still ignore them.....if you're feeling cynical!

Kalpsn2000:
So far I've had the original charge, 1st reminder and then the 2nd reminder today.

All being put on a pile and ignored (the bin is too far away to bother getting up )
