have standard GTI Ed30 thinking of mods?
zerolag:
Defo. The remap is going to be the best bang for buck mod on a turbo motor. period.
By upping the power with a remap, quite considerably with the K04 Ed.30 (from ~230 to ~ 300) you'll definitely have some more noises to enjoy without TBE / IK etc.
Enjoy the progression, rather than whacking everything on at once. Each to their own though hey, enjoy :)

For another £300 you could get an anti lift kit and lower engine mount, that's where my next few pounds would go - if you decide to go further.

....If you talking about a full lower engine mounts and not just a poly insert, then I would advise having the other two engine mounts changed as well but this would cost you more. The reason I say this is so that all 3 engine mounts are more evenly balanced and the forces will be distributed more evenly. That's what I was advised.
Perhaps it's best just to start off with a remap and then see what you feel your car needs to suit your style of driving.
Kiwi:
As already said go re-map first for engine, biggest bang for buck.
If you have DSG that should be your next mod in terms of a stage 1 map ( makes it amazing to drive )
Sunglasses Ron:
Remap - No brainer..
Joff Gas:
I had revo stage 1 map and DSG st 2 last week on my ED30.
It changes what was a quick car into a very fast car :driver:
