This is all a big surprise, Rich :surprised: - Re your effort and expense on the wide arch conversion, I thought you'd be keeping that car a tad longer.

Is it the insurance that's killed the wide arch project? :sad1:

As others have said, I wouldn't like to guess how much you'd be charged to insure a Mk5 GTI at 18yo (assuming you can find an insurer even willing). Not fair in your case as a responsible driver no doubt, but it's the hard reality.

broadly the same , depends
a) if you want to further tweak / modify and maximise your settings (REVO) or just leave it to the tuner (APR)
b) switchable via cruise control(APR) or using select switch (REVO)

nearest tuner if you have an issue , etc
if you check out my APR REVIEW there are some useful points at the start.......
