Cheers mate, I'm hoping so..... Bonnet was extended 25mm, also you can't really see in these pics but all 4 arches are extended by 40mm  :wink:

Has there been lots of pictures building for a massive build thread? I can tell the rear arch has been extended :)

Loads of pics mate, I have a build thread on R32oc as linked below but if you wanted I'd whip one up on here as I don't like hijacking Grizzlys thread and there seems like a bit of interest in my mk5, Matt

Just smoothed the front splitter, didn't want to overdo it as I do have the washer jets, and didn't want to lose one piece and leave another.

Not keen on the completely smoothed rear, think it is too big a piece to try and have as one. Have you thought about semi smoothing, but leaving just a pinstripe definition on the join? Plush did it on his GTI build a couple of years ago and looks amazing.

Is a shortened plate recess illegal? guessing the answer is yes but worth an ask haha

Nope, why would the recess make it illegal?
As long as spacing is correct on the plate then everything is fine.
