Light and scatty....
« on: August 05, 2009, 09:55:56 pm »
Mods to date

Eibach springs
Stage II Map
Carbon Speed intake
and soon Milltek TBE

Currently power is around the 312BHP.

Just been for a spirited drive and the car is awesomely fast, but also very light/slightly scatty under full acceleration - if you know what I mean???  Maybe I've just been spoilt with 4wd, in my past cars, but is there one mod to make the car feel less so???

Maybe I just need to get used to high performance front wheel drive cars again?

Ta muchly  :happy2:

PS - And I'm on Continetal tyres - Sport contacts I think - Ive never been a fan of Conti's, and cant wait for them to wear out, so I can put some F1's/Vredesteins on - Could these Conti's be part of the problem??

Mine definitely felt more skittish with the Conti 3's on.

Front and rear ARB's, Whiteline anti lift Kit and torque arm insert should help tighten things up a little :happy2:
Golf R gone.

.... x 2! Those are the ones you need. Just the lower engine mount would make all the difference.

And check your tyre pressures!

We know you want to, Oli
