Just bought a full set of VF Engineering Engine/Gearbox mounts for the car..

Had these on the last GTI and the S3 too, really tighten up the whole drivetrain and transform the whole way the car feels to drive really, fairly expensive for something that doesn't really make the car any faster but well worth it!!

Also getting fitted on Friday (mod day) lol..

Bought a set of 8000k HID D2S bulbs too.. im a bit dubious about these if im honest, as much as the reviews of these specific bulbs seem to be very good.. Anyways I got a good deal on them, so ill fit them and see what I think, have a feeling I may take them back out but we'll see..

You might find 8000k a little too blue, I have had a 6000k before and I wouldn't want to go any further, have a 4300k kit on the 25th Anni which are spot on.

....

Are you going for a Quaife or Peloquin ATB diff?

[I can't understand why, after modifying a car so much, you don't keep her longer. But ETTO.]

You probably never will, along with most people lol..

Quaife, I know the owner well so I can get very good deals on the parts.. Peloquin is a american copy of the ATB system anyways as far as I can tell..

I don't really think its for us to comment on the reasons for selling the S3.

I'm looking forward to seeing this ED30 though.

Oh I assume if you sold your previous mk5 to Regal, it will have been the one I saw at UDs this year? (very nice)

Yeah my old MK5 went to Regal, its now running the same turbo kit as the S3 had, but with built internals.. Really nice sorted car!

I have really a really good feeling about this ED30, think its going to be the best car yet.. Already looking at big turbo lol.. Arrgh!!
