snow foam lance and agents
Blade:
Slight thread hijack, sorry - but i have just starting using snow foam and was wondering if you can dilute it down at all with shampoo - or is that a complete no no. have n,t quite got the hang of it yet and seem to be using far too much.
stealthwolf:
You need to dilute the snowfoam with water. To get an idea of how to work it out: clicky. There's another thread containing an excel file which does the calculations for you depending on the product: clicky.

I read somewhere about a foam lance that connects straight to the hose pipe called "The Gilmour Foamaster"
Are these any good? are they really worth the £50-60?

stealthwolf:
Depends on what you're after. These 'hose lances' rely on water pressure to produce the foam, and to be honest, unless you have Niagara Falls as your water supply, the presure's gonna be crap.
Honestly, if you're prepared to spend £60 on something like that, you can buy cheap karcher pressure washers for around £70-80. I bought an el-cheapo karcher foam attachment for around £15.

Sorry - what does snow foam do?
