Detailed the Engine bay of my R32.....

R32rob:
did a small engine detail today, took the sound proofing off the underside of the bonnet and gave that a clean and a polish. Will leave the sound proofing off for now.

weather held up for the morning.

Looks great and your .:R looks the nuts.  :notworthy:

The underside of the bonnet always looks much better without that crappy liner IMO.

thanks, its pretty much where i want it to be now, no more tweeks to it, paintwork and mods are all upto scratch.   With regards to the insulation i was worried that the bonnet would become really hot but it hasnt today so perhaps its there for sound deadning than anything else.   the more sound the better imo lol

lol, i'll stick to my R32 for now thanks.....  until i can get my SL 55!!  in a few year, well quite a few years...
