A Couple from VW Action....

Mark's Corrado give's me a MASSIVE :WANT: Face...... ('specially now that he's got a controller on the haldex so he can do burnouts!)



Matty and VWR in fully effect! (being expertly supervised by VW Drag Racing 'LEGEND' Rhod!



14's in the Diesel Caddy Racer too :)



My Girlfriend on her way to toasting the clutch in the VR6!  :signLOL: still - 14.75 out of a stock VR isn't to be sniffed at!



This Beetle also makes it onto my :WANT: list.... 9.3's on the 1/4 at 150mph... Road Legal, Street Driven.... Floorpan Car... AWESOME. I take my hat off to Mr Russ Fellows..... LEG-END!

This bloke spent some time talking to my Mrs in the fire-up road, and ended up doing this:

Indeed it is..... he's quite handy with a camera! (and as we spent most of the time in similar places.. I didn't bother with mine!)

Nice pics I had 20 minutes there on the way to work, managed to time it when their was a wedding on the start line of the strip.  :fighting:  :rolleye:

I was actually quite gutted to see Matty beat the beetle in that run! a Dzus fastener worked loose and jammed itself in the Gear Shift mechanism of the Bug... he ran a 13 with only 3rd gear!!!!!  :surprised:

*EDIT* Just noticed a couple more things too... .my Mrs is lined up behind the beetle,... and that Video was taken not too far from where I was stood on the VIP Gantry...

That chariot has been fully crash tested too...... it acheived an NCAP rating at Big Bang a couple of years ago when we (drunkenly) pushed it (and it's pilot Polly) into a bin that we didn't know was full of concrete.... then ran off giggling like children!!!


(Her Fiance was the cheif protagonist BTW...)

Indeed I do! And they said I could take it to The Ring to try it out :laugh:
