Golf mk6 aircon panel into mk5

Hi all sorry if this has been asked before, i want to know can a mk6 standard aircon panel with heated seats be swapped into a mk5 with standard aircon & heated seats this is the mk6 panel I'm looking at http://www.bold-sport.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=270

Yes it can be done it's straight forward.
Abit more awkward up to 2006.

every mk5 will have some wiring changes for the air con swap, but as you have a 2008 its just 2 wires, unless you want to add the air quality sensor then its a bit more involved.

not possible unless you change several parts, in which case then you could upgrade to full climate control

I'm pretty sure I've seen it done before with the Mk6 Manual AC panel. Didn't realise you'd need to change lots of parts though  :confused:
