I can't really say that as although I've used all of those products you've mentioned I've not used them in those particular combination.
The polish usually has more effect than the pad, so I'd say white with 105 would be more aggressive.

It doesn't ultimately matter.

Just start with 205 on a white pad and go from there.

Problem is you can start thinking about every possible outcome or situation (eg polish or pad being more aggressive or whatever) and you end up in a sea of sh*t if you do :) so don't worry just take it slow and sure it'll be fine.  :happy2:

Last question, i promise

Ive had a fairly comprehensive search through DW threads for conclusive answer but it seems largely personal choice and dependent on pads and polish.

What Speed setting (on a DAS6Pro) would you use for priming, cutting, finishing, jeweling etc with the CG Hex-Logic pads and megs 105/205.

I was just going to try a few random settings on my practice bonnet to find what worked.

DW is the best and the worst place.

So take what you read on there with a pinch of salt.

With a das 6 pro I spread on speed 1 and then use speed 5 to 5.5 for cutting and then bump down to speed 3 to finish my polishing set.

This is the same whether I'm cutting or refining, I may use speed 4 to refine but depends on the paint/pad/polish combination.

Janner_Sy:
Jay would you be looking at another Polish for jeweling or do you think #205 is good enough?

I was looking at buying some po85rd for the final stage

xjay1337:
205 is fine .
