Console Bolts
Scottymon:
Hmm, removing nearside wishy today, console and front bush bolts super tight but managed to crack them with breaker, however, even half way out they are still super tight, like there's weight on them but isn't.
I fear putting more lateral load on them as they get further out and snapping them... any suggestions?
I've tried winding them back in and out with PlusGas.
Is it just the case that some do snap? In which case is it best to buy a bracket and lower the subframe a bit rather than churning through lots of expensive drill bits.

I think there the type of bolt that Is used once and never refitted as there no good after there undone and put back in mate? Someone may correct me on this but I'm sure I'm right ?
Single use bolt?

Yes matey, stretch bolts... I have a feeling these have been reused at least once (history shows 2 nearside wishbones!) :(
Scottymon:
test it? impact gun? garage :(

I'd garage it mate, least they'll have all the necessary tools to get it out if it snaps or whatever. It'll probably take them no more than 1 Hr too on a 4 poster ramp
I'd be pissed if it snapped at home
