Spacer Vibration
« on: July 08, 2014, 06:55:07 pm »
As above, I've put some 5mm spacers all round with longer bolts etc in anticipation of fitting an NQSBBK in a couple of weeks and a bit of research on here claimed a 5mm spacer was the minimum suitable for clearance on stock pescaras.... Having some wheel vibration at around 80mph which I know is common with non-hubcentric spacers but is there anything that can be done using these spacers to reduce the vibration? Is the only alternative to step up to an 8mm hubcentric option or could changing the spigot ring inside the alloys help at all???

Thanks!!

You can get small hub extenders which provide the non Hubscentric spacers something to centre on. :happy2:

4WD Leon Cupra TTE420 K1, maybe slightly modded.

Ah right nice! I was thinking of something like that but didnt know if anything existed!

Do you know where's the best place to look at getting a set? Do they just pop into the hub as it is and get held in by the alloy when bolted on?
