Tiny orange spots.

AndyBrown:
When I've been washing my car (candy white) on close inspection I can see tiny orange dots.
Now at first I thought these could be rust but it's on the plastic bumper and wing mirrors.

Does anyone know what this could be and would clay barring it remove it?

Cheers

BarberVW:
Sounds like iron fallout to me.

Buy a bottle of iron-x to decontaminate the paintwork, followed by claying and then resealing the paint with your LSP of choice.

xjay1337:
Either tar or iron. Hard to tell.  Clay would remove it but ironx or tardis would be better as this is touchless and so not going to mark the paint.

AndyBrown:
Cheers lads, gunna get a das6 next month and do a full detail on the paint.

cuprajake:
did a leon on sat and it was covered in cupranol fence and garden paint :)
