The graph in Facebook that nikki posted is less peak bhp, but the volume under the curve

So the car has been collected and I made it home. Been a really long few days so was pretty tired and didn't go too mad with it on the way back.

I'm only able to have the one map so we've done a nice well rounded and safe one for road/track/top speed etc....

This is the result

As you can see peak numbers are good but nothing spectacular as it's more about what's under the graph and helping the engine handle my rather aggressive driving  :signLOL:

Best peak numbers were 372bhp and 395.4lb/, Niki said with meth it's 380+ and 400+ all day.

This is mine compared to a stage2+ without anti surge.

You can see how mine (below) just comes in and holds torque and power whereas the normal K04 has to be mapped around the surge and can't hold it as well through some parts of the rev range.

Car was amazing on the way home. Slip road destroyer.

Filled up with V-power and this happened

Not sure if it's a problem with the car or I overfilled as I was tired but have filled up many many times and at that exact pump a couple of times without an issue before. Will be keeping an eye out and putting it on the ramp to double check.

It's not like they need another rave review but huge thanks to Niki and the lads for sorting a truly epic map and to Alex at AKS for putting it all together for me. Can't wait to get this baby on track.

Found the graph that had peak numbers. So many torques the graph couldn't keep up lol

Great lines! Safe for your heavy foot...

I hope you just overfilled and that nothing is wrong with the car.

Yeah that's what I thought which is why a shat myself and expected all £53 to come pouring back out again. Hasn't leaked since but the whole car under and inside stinks like petrol, pretty sure I got high on the way home . Will have a look at it, clean it all and then try filling again and see what happens.

Because it's a conversion and not the stock ECU for engine each one is made separately so I have to buy each one rather than having 5 made from the stock map.

That looks smooth as hell. Impressive.

Hope that was just a filling error though and not a split tank!!

You must be chuffed with her now.

Can you do a little video of the exhaust please.

I wanted to book with EMP this next week but want to get an idea how loud it is

Yeah it flies, just a shame it's been spoiled by the fuel issue as I'm a massive over thinker and been worrying about issues it could be all day. Has a thorough check and drive but all seems good. I will fill it up again when it's late so if it does happen it's not a huge inconvenience.

Will try to get a video this weekend  :happy2:

How does it compare to the Loba k03 Dan?

Not driven it enough to do a full comparison as this mapping has different throttle response to. At some points it feels slower but then you realise it's more controllable and once you fully plant it on a straight road it's in another league.

Will be out tonight to drive it on some roads I know well for a good comparison and then try to fill it up again

I take it you have 1:1 throttle mapping then. Always wondered if that makes it feel a bit sluggish when you're off boost. And whether Niki would entertain doing a 2+ k04 map with the usual throttle map.

I'm sure you'll report back once you've had a proper blast in it!

Dude, if it's any consolation I've overfilled my fuel twice!!

Both times I was tired and distracted and both times I was amazed by how much fuel was on the floor before I noticed!!

Usually I just wait for the pump to click off automatically. Normally that works fine. But on the two occasions mentioned above it didn't work and it was fuel on the floor time

Never figured out if it was a problem with the two pumps in question or whether the filler neck on the MK5 is a funny shape and sometimes the pump won't click itself off properly?? (Total guesswork here on my part )

It never happened me in any other car. But there you go. I doubt it's anything wrong with your motor mate  :happy2:
