Sug:
I have stage 2+ R and it only cost me £1700 extra to get it there mate. My only real treat was my wheels (extra of course)

Hurdy:
There is a 35kmile, 3dr 2010 golf R DSG with full stage 2+ mods already fitted for sale on the R Forum for £20k. A LOT of car for the money........

The R sounds very tempting,I'd still need to spend a few grand on better suspension and brakes though,that's why at my spec everything is covered bar a bigger turbo

I have this same debate every day to myself. I have a stage 2+ eddy and it only does about 1000 a year due to cycling to work. I'm going to be hitting it hard as a track car over winter to get it set up and it's in process of chasing 500-600 hp as the close to 400 doesnt thrill me any more. Then I think shall I buy an R and start again??? I've concluded to hit the edition hard and get some big figures outof her, and I brought a R for the misus. :) at least that way I don't drive it so I don't get tempted to play with it.
