I'll spend my money else where and if a second hand intake comes up I'll have it !

That's probably the most sound advice anyone could give you. :happy2:

Not a fan of intakes and I used my oe airbox with oe filter at stage 2+ with no issues. The loss in low down torque was enough to make me switch back. Id spend the money on something else as I only lost peak 10bhp by switching back but gained power back in the low and mid range. With the intake it felt like a vtec and all the power was moved to the high rev range. Great for track days but rubbish for a road car.

My cars stage one. If anything it picks up a tad earlier and quicker. Not felt any difference further up the revs.
I'm hoping the fuel trims come down too.
I used the oem maf housing in my intake and there's a massive debate going on about maf placement as the oe maf is in a oval tube, while aftermarket are round.
Personally I'd spend else where.

Was this on the "TFSI Tuning" Facebook page that Niki setup?
I'm tempted by the intake pipe & MAF housing to OEM filter
Wonder if a mk7 airbox would work?

See, I would like an intake at some point for engine bling more than anything else, but how much torque are we talking about loosing low down, percentage wise?
Pikey Motorsports:
Not sure how people can complain about the low down losses from an intake with such a small turbo my peak torque is about 5k with a big turbo and i feel i have loads of power still low down for pottering about on the road
