Intake worth it ?

Haha, it's not like they get any worse second hand no shame in waiting for a good deal.

I'm going stage 2 with just a panel filter. . .

I'm trying to stay OEM as possible and don't really want any whooshing noises entering the cabin.

Intakes also lose you a little torque lower down in the rev range  :sad1:

Again, I've got just a panel filter. I'm pretty sure I remember all the big tuners say that you're far better off spending the money on a downpipe and sports cat than an induction kit. But this is for a K03 which is a smaller turbo so doesn't need a huge air supply to it. K04 or big turbo kits differ I would guess.

Just taken my mtc style intake off in favour of the oem air box.

My cars stage one. If anything it picks up a tad earlier and quicker. Not felt any difference further up the revs.

I'm hoping the fuel trims come down too.

I used the oem maf housing in my intake and there's a massive debate going on about maf placement as the oe maf is in a oval tube, while aftermarket are round.

Personally I'd spend else where.

BenGTI:
Thanks for the advice guys!
I'll spend my money else where and if a second hand intake comes up I'll have it !
