Bought a new gear stick and trim a few months back.

Installed the trim but not the gear stick finally installed the gear stick today.

Not sure on the white stitching?

The trim is already scratched :sad1:

Hope the wife doesn't notice as there in nothing wrong with the old one.

Just incase anyone missed it the revo intake is on not sure for how long as the wife is not impressed with Darth Vader.
As usual it was not easy being a LHD the intake did not fit as it was touching the brake reservoir bodged a temporary fix.

You'll have to convince her of the benefits of the CAI... That's what I try to to with mine. Overkill explanation of the benefits and she'll give in eventually to the new mods.

Good luck with keeping the CAI. I bet it's much more exciting to drive with it.

Received my new plate last week well happy with the smaller Alfa Romeo Acrylic Plate.

Started off well following this DIY http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=12447.0
Three magnets could not hold it so went with 5 in the end.
The glue has damaged the plate so i've ordered another one.
I'm thinking about using ten magnets on the inside of the grill and magnetic strips on the number plate. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I need to remove the gloss vinyl from the grill fill/sand it and re-wrap it.

Any advice for filling the grill? Should i put something behind the holes?
