Went to a local GTI meet today. Less than 10 cars there but it was nice to see some fellow GTI enthusiasts.
I was surprised all the cars were pretty stock apart from the odd remap.

Things were ok until the Cupra 280 stole my thunder.

Thanks mate!

I use Dodo Juice Supernatural Tyre Dressing.
Maybe the detailing gurus can recommend something even better.

Started back on the boot build yesterday.
Wired up the thermostat sensor have no idea what temp to switch the fans on and off? Not seen the temp go above 30ยบ yet.

Contacted a company in the UK to see if they can cut the perspex for me as i was not happy with the circle edge when i did it my self.

The leatherette has all come unstuck any thought on a better material/glue to use?

I dread the day i get a flat the false floor is a perfect fit so i cannot get it out unless i lower the rear seats slightly easier said than done when the kids isofix seats are in the car.

Yeah, newer mk5's only have 2 bulbs (both my Golfs).

Your engine is now running well. :happy2:

Seems to be running nice now thanks mate.

I will order another bulb.

I also need a bulb holder for one of the map lights. If anyone knows the part number.

Also noticed glove box light not working so will have to remove the glove box and check the switch.

Led door warning lights are in. Simple once i found out what pins to use.

Pin 1 Positive. Sliced ground on to pin 4. No slicing needed on the passenger side again used pins 1 and 4.

Where did you feed the wire from the battery to the amp thru the engine bay? I've done them before but can't find an easy way thru...?

I have DSG so there is a hole where the clutch would be.
