DSG issue. Clutch pack? (Oil changed not mechatronic either)

I wonder how many people with similar symptoms have ended up having their mechatronics replaced when they could have just done this?

I seriously think quite a lot as Alan Day vw couldn't even find the damaged mounts :stupid: idiots.

Sorry mate don't really use this to much anymore.
How did you find out it was the mounts? We're your symptoms only when hot aswell?
If it was the mounts if presume it would be constant.

I just decided enough was enough and removed the engine cover and rocked the engine back and forth and found it had excess play. bought a mount and took the old one off and took a video of how bad it really was. It happened mainly once warm ad the colder it was the stiffer it was and less it moved.
Check the video half way down. lower mount was checked whilst on a ramp and bushes were torn.
