Which canbus for upgrade?
« on: September 01, 2017, 09:17:33 am »
Morning folks...

Just want to clarify that ANY canbus module after 'L' will avoid battery drain issues?

My car is '07 plate, march. And it has version 'H' atm. I've bought a rcd310 dab.

Looking at a 7N0 907 530 AR and also 1K0 907 530 AD

I have full vcds to code it

Tia

I recently changed my gateway from a rev L to 7N0 907 530 AM, the main reason was to support extra functions in my rocco clocks that i wanted ie i now have rest mode enabled & i will be adding TMPS High version so it will show the pressures in the display plus i got the gateway for silly cheap £20 & i sold my old rev L to a friend for the same price as i paid for the new one.

7N0 will allow you to do more retrofits since it's from a newer car.

I'm using 7N0 "AS" .. This gives you EXT.can, 5F and much much more :)
