Wax removal

After polishing my car and waxing it, I'm struggling to remove the wax. I normally just use a microfibre cloth by hand to remove the wax..
Do people normally use a wool head on a machine polisher to remove wax?

usmangti:
Sounds like you might have applied too much wax. Shouldn't be too difficult to remove otherwise. Keep turning your cloth to avoid it getting clogged up and use a decent microfiber cloth to remove it. Probably gonna need to use some force too!!

jimmy-s3:
Definitely not putting too much on..
It just seems to stick well to the paint?

dansmith180:
What wax is it?

Cold weather can make it more difficult sometimes.

xjay1337:
you almost are certainly putting too much on.

depends too on what wax you are using, cure times etc.
some are easier than others.

FK you can leave for a good hour especially in the cold and it's OK... crystal rock or something you can leave on overnight if you were a numpty!! where as say collinite 476s you need to only leave on for about 5-10 minutes and again thin coats..
