PCV done?

Removed the dipstick to check my PCV today as the cars been quite rough on idle.
When I removed the dipstick it didnt splutter as it should and theres was a sound of air rushing out, is a tell tale sign?

I find best bet is take oil filler cap off a tiny bit, if it feels like the engine can suck it back on then it's a pretty good bet it's gone.

I've ordered a new one anyway, I highly doubt mines been changed

Do you have the part number for the latest PCV revision?

I dont I bought the revision n off here.
Might be worth ringing VW as I some need different versions.
