mk5 r32 rear brake upgrade... the great debate about dust shields

I believe Eos V6 rear shields 'may' fit as that had the larger rear brakes but was a fwd platform  :smiley:

I had a quick look and it diesnt look like they are gonna be big enough, love the thinking though cheers

The shields screwed in perfectly on my MK6 and its FWD

Make sure you get the shields right way round!

Just to bring a happy ending to the thread, got the rear brakes on today and fitted with matching rear shields, in regards to fitment 2 of the 3 stqndard holes fit, and then another was simply drilled to make 3 connections to the hub

Thought id just through this on here for future reference as i only read posts saying major fabrication would have to be done, it doesnt appear to be the case!
