Upgrade the oil cooler before doing the extra water radiator.
Good progress so far bud and great racing.

Unfortunately, oil cooler requires a lot more mods and it is more expensive, INA is not bolt on as they claim, and other products require manufacturing of brackets etc...
I've talked to fuscobal who has done this mod. Before doing it he was always complaining about overheating, now he has no more problems.

....mmmmm...and cheap also...yummmy

Thanks Jay!

LE: I believe this is for DSG, I'm wondering how can this be connected to the oil filter and if it is not dangerous running an oil cooler in the winter.

No, it's for manuals or DSG.

You can use it as an oil cooler or a DSG oil cooler.
You just plumb it up differently.

After a while I'll revive this old topic...little time for forum these days.  :ashamed:

Unfortunately on the rest of the season I still couldn’t beat the Lotus (on Hoosier A7) but the difference was minimal so I finished second on SuperSport class this year but with a new record for me. Here’s some pictures from the last race:

I have a really annoying high RPM shifting problem for years that nobody can solve. I’ve talked with fuscobal who told me that a WOT box might be the only solution for that. (I’m still reading to learn how that thing is used)
Still have to find out what happened with the rear wheel alignment because it can be seen with the naked eye that I have about -1 camber on the right wheel and -2 on the left (I did a short visit of the track with the right side)
New parts ordered, the new goal now is weight saving and more grip:

-   TT aluminum rear hubs (I'd really appreciate if someone could tell the weight of them vs oem)
-   Sparco PRO 2000 II LF racing seat (I will take out my OEM Cupra sets)
-   1.9 Kgs HOCO Battery and charger
-   OMP Corsica Steering Wheel, Suede Leather, Black Anodized
-   New custom forged Vennom wheels, 9x18 front 8x18 rear
-   Used 250/660/18 Yokohama front slicks and 235/40/18 Pirreli rears

Still to do:
-   oil radiator installation
-   air conditioning system removal
-   carbon fiber bonnet
-       WOT box (still thinking about )

Cant make out the shift issue on the video but I have also got an issue, where high rpm shifting is difficult.  Very annoying.

Interesting update!  :congrats:

So Helix is not the answer....
Just before the finishing line there is something visible, the speed drops until i manage to shift. In the video looks ok, but many fast laps are finished in gearbox cranking and me cursing... :signLOL:

I have helix SMF paddle kit but it was used. Around 1000miles on it.  Im going to have it tested.  It maybe an issue with my gearbox, ill keep you posted.

I know the feeling, mid - high rpm and it wont go into gear  :fighting:

Thanks man! I will also check the gearbox and the engine this winter. I hope I'll find the high rpm shifting issue and i will get some extra tens from there.
