Yeah, you can find almost everything you need online about Golfs. There are great communities, just like this forum, to help out when you have a doubt.

Not sure how are forums of the Allambras/Sharans/Galaxys. If you don't find good enough info online I guess you'll need to check a VAG specialist. :sad1:

Spoke to a friend who is a mechanic, he seems to think its the slave cylinder he advised me not to flush the clutch as it may fail completely  :confused:

The part itself isn't expensive. The labour might not be cheap, if the gearbox needs to come off, like you've seen. :confused:

@vRSAlex any thoughts on this? Think i may have to take out the gearbox if thats the case may as well inspect the clutch?

Bled the clutch earlier the front bottle is was i siphoned from the reservoir the back bottle is what a managed to collect from the clutch the rest went on the floor as the pipe came off.

The clutch feels a little better but gears are still getting stiff when things heat up.
