Boost leak ?????

Surely something  Wouldn't of done the actuator in again !? My only worry

no shouldn't have done anything to the actuator. the likely hood is if there was no clip the pipe has popped out when under boost (very likely) when I replaced my intercooler one of the clips for the boost pipes was not fitted properly and as soon as I put my foot down the pipe blew out, there's a hell of a lot of pressure in the system and without any clips there is nothing to hold the pipes in. If your mechanic has lost the clip and not replaced it then its his responsibility to fix it, take it back to who did it and tell them its not been right since they did it.

Found the arm of the actuator  which is connected onto the manifold has snapped

ouch, how long is it since you had it replaced?

Happened the next day absolutely gutted.. The arm that the waste gate screws into has snapped in the middle  so need to get a new but of arm onto the arm that comes off
