Mk6 heater control issue help

So I have fitted this mk6 heater control to my mk5 and all seems to be working fine until I press the AC button and it shuts of all the vents and also every time I start the car up it seems to rest the controls and there turned all the way up to the hottest temperature.. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated thanks

Definitely looks like the MK7 panel. This is the MK6:

It's the MY2013 climatronic, not compatible with our mk5. I asked my friend who knows these stuff well about it. Sorry @Ma22789, no luck there...
