New wheels on and it wasnt looking good. A little 4X4 stance going on. So next came the Weitec Coilovers to help it to the ground a little. A few mods to the rear bumper (no exhaust) and some LaminX and i was good to go.

SHOW READY, Bring em on :happy2: I have attended GTI International / VWNW and will be at GTI Festival and High Peak Low Dubs coming soon.
Hope you like the results, pretty pleased up to now but a few more mods to come :wink:

Then discover that you can buy one ready done from a German tunning company :surprised: At a cost of £180.00. Think it cost me around £40-50 to do, not perfect but effective imo.

Its about individual taste's, i think it sets the interior off nicely. Xenons = EXPENSIVE :P

No idea how it happened could have even been there prior to purchase but wasnt spotted on last years MOT.

All sorted now and rear beam replaced, BIG dent in my modding funds (for now) but safety is the priority :happy2:

Took my car along to Drury Lane Service Centre (http://Drury Lane Service Centre) for 4 wheel alignment as it was thrown up on the MOT that my front wheels were in a "V" formation.

First reading showed that all 4 wheels were outside of their recommended perameters.

Everything all back to within VWs settings, steering certainly feels better and more responsive and with the new rear beam now in place rear end is not so noisy either.

Yes they are Petrol clocks. As far as i can remember it will run fine. Morty runs similar in his diesel no issues :wink:

Hi Dave,
Air went on a week before Inters, car was away for a week, that's why you havent seen me for a bit. Im so suprised with the way the car drives now, much more practical than coils imo, and easy for the speed bumps round here.

I have also had Xenon bulbs fitted to the rear number plate lights and added more Pink neons to the boot install, no pics as yet as its not quite dark enough. That's where its at today, will be at Detailed Summer Bash Sunday at Awesome GTI. Come say "HELLO" :happy2:
