Love them both, I've had 8 mk2 GTIs over the years. Sold my last one (a bright blue Metalic big bumper with a 2.8 vr6 engine) about 6 months ago. I wish I'd kept it to run along side my mk5, they're awesome wee cars that put a smile on your face every time you drive them.

mk5 is mine. mk2 is of a friend.
mk2 was the best looking of all i reckon.
Still drives great. Makes a great noise too.
