Brake Pad Warning Light
« on: February 25, 2018, 05:13:38 pm »
Hi all,

Just replaced all my brakes but now the warning light is on the dash.

The previous owner of the car or some garage looks like they have cut the connector to the brake pad warning sensor off.

What options do I have here?

Thanks

Just replaced these because of corrosion causing the dash light. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-2-Pin-connector-with-30cm-tail-leads-1J0973802-FREEPOST-Finishing-Kit/323099092060?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
Easy fit with either solder or included connectors.

join the wires together when the sensor plugs in or replace loom
get the sensor coded out
