Morning all, my GTI is stage 1, recently when driving under heavy load, I get total boost loss, and the car goes into limp mode. No lights on the dash though. Then with a quick ignition on and off, everything goes back to working until I boost under heavy load a fire times and then the same thing, total loss of boost.
I was then sat in a lot of traffic and booted it to get away, EML came on, and again total loss of boost. But this time after an off and on, I still have no boost.
I know I need to give it a scan but I’m currently in the south of France and without a scan tool.
Has anyone had a similar experience and if so, what was the cause?
