DSG Internals (pics inside)
« on: May 06, 2010, 07:24:12 am »
Thought I'd share some pics of my DSG now that it's been opened up for a Peloquin LSD install. Might prove useful or helpful to some.

out of interest how is this possible when I though parts (like gaskets etc) were unavailable for the DSG?

....

Had a long chat with the head mechanic/tech at my VW dealer this morning while he was working on my car.
We also went out for a drive :driver:.
Apparently they are now allowed to work on the wet DSG 6-speed boxes but the new 7-speed dry versions have to go back to Germany.

I think you meant to say the wet 6 and dry 7!  :P

Wooooooooooww!!!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
