The N75/Wastegate duty is what I was refferring too, I also thougt 90's was high but after speaking to Kev he confirmed for the K03 this is normal when running higher boost

Yes, higher Boost settings would result in higher duties etc, and this would be "normal" in the sense of what you would expect when running higher boost.

However, I much prefer to maintain more 'headroom' for the sake of longevity/reliability and I am perfectly happy with my car's performance (and handling!!).

the difference between B6 and B9 for example isnt a great deal - just over 2psi. I need some more logs from another K03 to compare.

I dont doubt your happy at all, and I am not trying to convince you otherwise - just trying to get to the bottom of it.

Out of interest did you stick with your original N75 do you know..?

2 psi doesn't seem much but I remember feeling a power difference and my boost gauge's behaviour when running B7 previously.

Did I stick with my original N75? - I don't know. I don't remember what a N75 is.

^^  , I know you dont tend to worry about these things.  N75 is more commonly known as the boost valve.

I really could do with a decent VW place (aftermarket) near me - if I had the spare cash I would setup on I tell you!

Do you mean the Diverter Valve? - If so, I have a Forge instead of oem Rev.G.

Nope, its different - controls the boost level.  On the TFSI its actually located next to the turbo, on the 1.8T it was on the TIP so easy to check and change yourself - bad design for a newer engine on VW's part.

Anyway not too worry :happy2:

@ RR - My car has 11.5cm splitter to floor clearance and ran fine, if that helps?

....I've finally got round to measuring mine and it's 10.2 cm clearance :surprised: :scared: - I'll have to have a word with JKM, I'm sure they'll have had lower cars than mine in the past.
