It was nice to meet you today Rich its always good to put a face to a user name.  Thanks for the hobnobs they kept us going all afternoon while custom mapping Chris's Golf or should I say spending 6 hours on his peak torque missfire. :jumping: He drove 250miles a very happy bunny 245bhp/277lbft albeit with the fuel pump and boost hoses from my car. :sad1:

If you get anymore missfire issues let me know and I try and help you.

Sorry its a tad late, been stacked out.
Just to point out when we runa  car on our dyno we dont use software filters to smooth the graph unlike some dyno setups.

Ta lee. Someone was quizzing me on it because the lines don't cross at 5252rpm... I suppose that just because they are on separate scales?

Yup. Did a quick'n'dirty graph in excel and they cross just over the 5000rpm mark. So had they been on the same scale (like JKM do), you'd have been able to see them crossing over at the correct point.

Personally I hate the way that graph is presented with the 2 different scales on the left.

Simple single scale with both lines using it would be fine, just like DD / Maha / Dastek

AMD uses 2 scales ( but it's clearer one on right one on left) But that R Tech one is the worst I've seen yet. IMO of course

Still as long as u can decipher it then that's ok!

I suppose nik can present the data with various scales. Maybe that's just a default.

Had a little issue today.

Decided to have a traffic light GP with a 250 motorbike this afternoon and my EML started flashing and then went out. I drove the rest of my journey and couldn't replicate this.

Is this a misfire warning? I don't have VCDS with me at the moment.

I'm 99% sure it's misfire, cos im on 4.5 year old spark plugs.
