Service time..... Not far off 70k miles now :stupid:

Taking it up to Alex when I get got from Italy. Cheaper than VW and better oil. Probably should do the plugs, but they are fine for the time being so not doing them, if they start playing up the ill swap them myself. Hoping to lose the r32 front brakes at some point too. :fighting:

Kind of thinking back to standard with some 'dickhead' brake pads.... I don't have AKS brake funds unfortunately. Other alt. is to piece together a 4pot over 312mm disc setup.

I think i remember now, crackle paint...? Just DIY refurb them, nothing a pot of paint won't sort out.

Find someone with a DD dyno and rob some of their red paint. Simples.

That's how mine were made to fit and rectified.  :wink:

To be honest any caliper paint or high temp paint should work. Just scotch pad it up to get a decent key and several thin coats should be enough.  :happy2:

Service today... nanodrive 5w40 which seems to be working very well as there was virtually zero wear on the cam follower.

Its amazing how much quieter these cars are after a service.  :smiley:
