Fitting 'Edition 30' badge to front grill
« on: October 03, 2010, 12:30:53 pm »
Hello,

Just wondering how the 'Edition 30' badge can be fitted to the front grill. I've had a look for a guide (im sure ive seen one before), but i cant find it anymore.

Any help would be super great.

Cheers  :drinking:

I pressed the Badge onto the honeycoombe to get an imprint onto the adhesive sticker 1st. Then ran a small bead on that imprint and stuck it on.

The badge isnt going to be removed even if i sell the car.Im not bothered if i may have been mad using glue to help stick it.

hth

Be carefull as mine would not stick, in the end i used tape and some wire which i glued to the back of the badge and then twist tied it to the honeycombe

Just use the adhesive pad on the back of the badge, as has been said above! Worked perfect on mine!

Does anyone know if the GTI badge^^^ can be removed? By that I mean, just the letters, leaving the flat backing/mounting plate on the grill. I am wanting to stick just the edition30 badge on the backing plate where the GTI letters are.
