my 08 plate gti shadow blue

Picked it up on the 28th Dec

not really done loads to it yet (even if i did say i was going to leave it alone)






then i started the slippery slop

1st lowered 40mm


then Neusouth boost gauge


then Pioneer AVH-3200BT

Nice car and welcome.... The only way to save yourself from carrying on is to leave the forum otherwise stay and slide down the same slope everyone else is on here ha.

Hi & welcome. How do you find the Pioneer ?.I've got the AVIC-F92OBT in mine & so far it's been great BUT didn't have the handbook so still playing to get the best from it.
Have ordered one from Pioneer & waiting for it to turn up. :smiley:

Cheers for the comments, i kind of like being on the slippery slop  :signLOL: yeah i really like the pioneer unit the bluetooth is really good aswell

think i need to get the handling sorted next though

little bit of an update

bought myself one of these off Ebay,






makes a nice noise can really here the turbo now  :smiley:

next on the list is to change to a K&N filter,make an airbox for the filter & sort out an engine cover.
Then some anti roll bars to make it handle slightly better.

its low but maybe i could be lower, feels alot better going into the bends now.

next up anti roll bars or full system???

Ill sort some larger pic's, most forum moan when you whack on full size pics so i tend to keep them smallish.

The police are pretty cool round my way, plus ive got the excuse of i just bought the car and they were on it  :signLOL:

Happy with how the cover came out, just need to tidy up the side where you can see into the airbox

Looking good mate, with your engine cover, does the whole cover have to be removed to take the silver part off? I was messing with mine earlier but didn't want to be too heavy on it incase it cracked!
Already snapped my plate surround being heavy handed today. :confused:
