Expanding the Quick Reply box....

In Safari browser on Mac Leopard (tartan instead of spots), you can drag the bottom righthand corner to expand.

However, it gets tedious when at the bottom of the monitor (where I have my Dock in hidden mode) and as one writes more or has a physical depth of quote. Some forum softwares have little up and down arrows just above the top righthand corner to expand - Is that something which can be 'switched on' in this forum please?

Hi Robin,

I am slightly confused. I have tried the quick reply on my account with firefox, IE and Safari and get the scroll bar options to the side of the quick reply box??

On Safari you can also drop the bottom corner to expand the box?

Yes, you can drag from the corner or use the scroll bar when the window has got full enough of content.

As I described (and referred to with the example of Tyresmoke.net) some forum software has the option of small clickable arrows which is waaaaaaaaaaaaay easier and faster.

Yes - In fixed increments - Xnumber pica/px per click. Surprisingly helpful/useful.

....Click the small black arrow hiding on the far left next to QUICK REPLY in white on dark red bar. It should somersault and drop the box down.

The only thing I have found so far is an extended quick reply like this one.

I prefer this personally but will welcome anyones feedback.

It's sort of useful having all the smilies etc on top of Quick Reply but it tends to over duplicate and spoil the direct simplicity.

Also, all those waving, vomitting, etc, smilies are a bit distracting. IMO

So I vote against.....Actually hold that....I best live with it a bit.

So far the latest addition allows faster Quick Replies if you want to include smilies, which one often does.
