How long is your Golf shopping list?
« on: May 10, 2012, 11:15:54 am »
We all know that the list never seems to get any smaller but I would actually like to get to the point when I have finished modding so that a.) can maybe save a bit towards a new car and b.) spend more on detailing products to maintain it.

At moment have whittled the list down to -

Twintercooler
Leather Armrest
RVC
MFSW
Highline with Polar FIS
Xenons
Pescaras or VZ

So not too bad I suppose but a good £2500-3000k there I guess so will take me over 12 months I reckon.

Whats on your list and do you think it will ever be down to zero? Will you have retired by the time you have finished modding?  :signLOL:

once your finished with that list, you will find lots more to do !! it just never ends !!

My list goes as follows:

RNS-510
Bluetooth
Milltek non-res cat back
Intake
Lowering springs, maybe Eibachs
VMR710's
Full pro detail
Engine + DSG remaps

So ive got lots and lots of saving to do !! :( It will take me a long long time to afford all that, if i ever can !!

thats quite some list Dom!

Actually I may need to add Unibrace to the list if you all love them.

I have recently decided against 3 mods though - WMI, R1R's and S3 hubs

Possibly adding the following later this year.

Bluetooth (only if it works with my Iphone tho!)
Possibly uprated engine mounts after seeing how much the engine moves on the rolling road!

Thats about it

I will have these soon....I hope  :innocent:

1) ITG Maxogen.
2) Reverse Camera.
3) I'd love a Rieger splitter like Neil  but for practicality could be a tad too low  :ashamed:

Also below are some track mods I was contemplating for a Long time...but I'm not going down this route anymore.
I don't do enough trackdays tbh.

My ed30 is fine as it is for the odd Nurburgring trip once a year.

Still here is the list.

1) Rear ARB.
2) WALK.
3) Upgrade bushes.
4) Track tyres.
5) Lighter brake upgrade.
6) Bilstein Shocks.

there you go you see rich, you are happy with your car as it is.

Am I right in saying though that you have virtually every factory option/interior upgrade gadgetry going? Do you retro fit for other members?
