Well after much uming and ahing over which springs to go for I decided on Eibach springs for lowering my Scirocco.

The springs were supplied and fitted by Midland VW (Web: http://www.midlandvw.com/ Telephone: 01543 485700) who were also kind enough to let me take a few pictures:-

Wonder how much these will cost when they eventually need replacing?

A comparison of the stock rear spring and the Eibach rear spring

Having the alignment checked after fitting

And a couple of before and after shots

Rear before

Rear after

Front before

Front after

Side on before

Semi side on after

Random badge shot

Next up was a re-map and then the plan is some new wheels.

I had the car Revo'd and then a few days ago I had it rolling roaded at Midland VW. Graph is below:-

The car was run three times on the REVO 98 setting and produced a highest of 208.6hp and 229.3lbft and was also run once on the REVO stock setting where it produced 173.3hp and 188.4lbft.

The ride height has also settled to be a little lower than on those pictures I posted.

Next up is wheels I think - either TD Pro Race 1.2's with no lettering or the 1.3's.

I love the white rocco but everytime I see one, I think of x5pea's rocco.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Lovely looking car. Once those springs settle it will be a bit lower and will have a better stance.

Hi Deacon

Just cant wait for my CW rooco to arrive in 21 days, 12 Hours and 30 minutes.

It cant come quick enough as Im spending a fortune with idle hands waiting for it to happen!

May I ask why did you go Eibach instead of the H&R?

Nice remap btw
