Another Aussie GTI Pirelli signing in
« on: June 23, 2009, 01:39:46 am »
Hello,

I was introduced to this lovely forum by another Australian member. I have a 3DR Silver MKV GTI Pirelli and I have been trying to look for a good community that has quite a bit of knowledge on the ED30/Pirelli models as I am still tossing up on which tune/exhaust/intake combo to get on my car soon  after that is done and after the wife is okay splashing our money onto the car, I will be looking forward to some coilovers and a nice set of BBS RRs or something similar

I don't have many pictures of my car yet but I will take some more of it when it stops raining in Brisbane!

Cheers!
Brendan

Welcome  :happy2:

Maybe a stupid question but what type of tuners do you get in Aus? Same as UK...APR, Revo etc?

Welcome Brendan! :)

Edition30 - we have most of the major dealers (REVO/APR/GIAC /Superchips), but not necessarily in all cities, and it's not like we can pop across the country (4000km wide) to get a tune
The VAG tuning market is pretty small.
There seem to be plenty of people running Bluefin.

Unfortunately we're not allowed to :( it would make the front of the car so nice and clean looking though!

Cheers for all the welcomes, I shall be making more threads in the future most probably relating to which accessories to fit onto my car  :rolleye:
