I'd be interested in the number plate bulbs also. Do they not throw the light warning on? And therefore the car cuts the power to them??? Or do they have a wired in resistor?

Also.. Today I had the exhaust changed a little.. I have gone to a straight pipe front section, removing two large silencer boxes, and played around with the middle box a little.. It now sounds mental!!! Very loud, very aggressive, huge pops and bangs.. Mega! haha..

You're mental      Keep it up and I can't wait for that big turbo to go on

Update!!

So, its been a while since I last had anything done to the car.. but here goes!!

I decided to go for an open front grill to show off the intercooler after seeing this pic..

I know its not for everyone, and I admit that a little while ago I hated intercoolers being on show, but I do think it gives a much more aggressive look to the front end so I set out on doing the same thing..

First of all I removed my intercooler grill, but to be honest as much as I liked the look it just looked a little un finished, and simply like the grill had been stolen lol.. With there being a return for the grill to clip into etc..

This is what I did next.. Ill let the pics do the talking..

Just waiting for that last coat of Matte black to dry and ill go for a test fit on the car, should be able to get it on tomorrow all being well.. Lots of work to get that trim to the way it is now but I think it should finish it off nicely!

So! Next thing..

As I have been saying, im looking to change the seats in my car, and was set on the Recaro Pole Positions, very light weight, around 12KG all in with base frames, sliders and side mounts etc.. Look great and they are extremely comfertable and supportive too!

Anyways, I have been waiting for 10 weeks now and I got bored!

Before..

After..

100% the pics do no justice for them, they look a completely different colour when you see them, and look perfect inside! For me the offer was too good to miss out on, so I went for it! Much more comfortable and supportive for me anyways, quite a bit firmer, and look great! Very pleased with them!!

They are also just over 7KG lighter than the standard seats because of the lack of airbags, heating, and electronic lumbar support etc.. So a 15KG saving which is sticking to my original plan!

The car is running better than ever, can't go into any detail on this at the moment, but put it this way.. Its a lot faster than it was at Santa Pod!!

Anyways there we are! Thats about it for now..

I have a date for the big turbo install, which is late April.. So im going to try and get all of the weight saving done before then, that should see the car at 1075KG (no fuel or driver) which is pretty good going!

Its going to be fast! 419hp/tonne anyone??

....

Very impressed with your attention to detail re the lower grill surround - It'll defo make it look right and not an amateur hack!

Love the Recaros - Regret not ordering them as an option on mine back in May 05.

Are you going to leave your I/C ali silver or paint black?

Yeah, lots of work like I said, but I want it to look OEM, so I suppose thats the only way!

Yeah the seats are amazing! Love them, completely change the feel of the car too!

Going to leave it Ali, but to be honest, its not quite as shiny as it was new, which im cool with, not too in your face.. It looks good..
