Will help with handling. Stock camber is about -0.5º on the front. so you want to get as close to -2º as possible to aid front end grip.

Reducing the front toe in will give better steering and reduce understeer a bit.

Went to Performance Direct in Barnsley this morning:

Think the sump plug on the new sump is leaking:

Anyway, car came back with new shoes:

Put another short plate on:

Took a few more snaps:

Car looks great, a bit jealous if I'm being honest, just a little low for my liking!

This is pretty much my target. It's perfect.  Nice taste in mods mate. Think I remember commenting on this a while ago actually!

I'm already identical in bodywork and colour, except I've got an ed30 front. Got a Powervalve R32 etc.

I'm on H&R springs and BBS VZ, so sort of the same... but a bit tame to the eye in comparison!
If I can be convinced that 19s on coilovers ride ok I'll be looking at a similar result to this once I'm at 2+. Maybe with CH-R though.

Really nicely done this. Credit to the forum.

Cheers :happy2: There are times when I think it's too low as well!

Cheers for the comments, progress has been slow but I'm pretty happy with it now. I want an ED30 front splitter then I'll leave the outside alone.

I remember you, any pictures of the R32 with the 3SDMs on it?

It's on 18s and coilovers :happy2:

I live in Sheffield but work in Conisbrough and spend a fair bit of time in Doncaster, either seeing mates or round at Only Charged Dubs in Kirk Sandall. When did you see me? Guessing you're local then?

This looks

Cheers :happy2:

Cheers, smoked indicators are on my list of things to do :happy2:

Another small update, I've spent a couple of afternoons round at Only Charged Dubs in recent weeks. The first one was to check out what looked like rust starting on the n/s sill. Matt let me borrow a corner of his unit and use his tools so I stripped it down:

Luckily it wasn't rust, it was just paint peeling off the sill. I can only assume it happened when the wings were changed.

I also chucked in some new plugs, opted for NGK BKR7EIX's

Yesterday I was round for Matt to change the bearings in my top mounts as they were getting very clunky.

Finally I gave my snowfoam lance a service and cracked out the snowfoam:
