Got my GTI yesterday :D

Hi everyone!

Hi everyone,

Finally the day came yesterday. My hand controls are all installed! It's been a long 2 and a half years since I last drove!
Anyway, let the modding commence! ;-)

So the spec it will be received in is as follows:
Tornado Red
Performance pack
Upgraded phone connection
Climatic windscreen
Push pull hand controls

Currently the mods I've got are:
Revo air intake
Oz alleggerita 8x18's
Yokohama ad08r
AP Racing Pro 5000 brakes

Items on order:
Revo stage 1 map

Soon to buy:
Turbo back exhaust
Coilovers
Rear wing
Stage 2 map
Dsg software
Inter cooler
Vwr rear discs

I will be out on track days soon! Can't wait to get many more miles under my belt

Looks smart! My dad had some fitted to his focus when he was driving.

May be a silly question but how do you accelerate with them?

You pull the lever to the right of the steering wheel to accelerate and push it to brake

its great to see you are getting there with your car I bet you can't wait know to get on track

I do hope you have a go pro to show us lot with legs how its done  :happy2: seriously fella well done

I am coming around to the MK7 and in red it looks spot on. Are you heading to Castle Combe on the 13th for the Forge day?

Thanks Neil! My wheels are off to be powder coated and waiting on my yoko's to turn up and I'll be ready to get on track! Won't be up to speed enough yet to warrant the AP's to be installed ;-)

I am certified in fitting hand controls and have to test drive each one after fitting. It literally scares the crap out of me each time! Hats off to you driving around and living with it daily.
