IMO the OEM ones do look better aesthetically but are crap as lights wheres the VALEO ones are brilliant as lights but don't look as good during the day
Keep the Valeo lights handy at all times in a knapsack. When darkness falls, simply pop them in place of the OE lights. Reverse the procedure at daybreak.
Maybe stop if you start fearing crosses and garlic.

^^^^ Thanks muchly!  :happy2:

Needed some new pressed plates after my front one fell somewhere on the A11 so after being pointed in the direction of some on ebay (sorry I can't remember who but thanks  :drinking:) I was well chuffed when they turned up within 48 hrs and they are pretty good quality and road legal and all for only £20.

Will chuck some magnets on the back of the front one and all's good.

A few Christmas presents for myself turned up this week.

Autotech FARB (Front Anti Roll Bar), I already have a Autotech RARB so when a new front one popped up I got it.
CTS Turbo Outlet (Discharge) Pipe and CTS Turbo Throttle Pipe from PSI Tuning, bought on Black Friday but only just turned up, still saved a few quid so thanks chaps!
Took a punt on a Unibrace UB style Chassis Brace (it's an exact copy -- rip off  :innocent:) so will see what Alex at AKS makes of this and see if it actually fits while I'm there next time.
Also bought the Superpro Rear Kit as there was a GB on. The whole car will be Poly bushed then.

Still need to sort out the Coilovers (to be more precise, which ones ), decide on trick top mounts and/or ball joints plus hoping Vibra Technics bring out their new Engine mounts and get Mr AKS to fit this lot and a few other bits plus new wheels the all's good. Will also go visit R-Tech for switchable maps, TC mapping etc etc.

Nice selection of goodies. I couldn't find a CTS Turbo discharge pipe for a K03 engine so I'm getting a Neuspeed one. Will be interested to hear what sort of difference you feel in throttle response and turbo action after fitting those CTS parts.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

We shall see what the larger diameter pipes bring to the party, more of a supporting mod AFAIK. The car may need a map tweak after these are installed so I good excuse for another road trip to see Niki....I want switchable maps and TC mapping anyway. Am also waiting to see his findings and/or benefits of the runner flap delete mapping.

Thanks  :drinking:

Ive had Black badges on for years (on and off) and change between the 2 styles. As for lowering? When the Coilovers go on she will be lower i imagine but I geniunely have no preference one way or the other for standard height of lowered.

I'd imagine the intake pipe, discharge kit and RFD should result in a much smoother power delivery, with perhaps some more low down torque available and some more horse powers. I'm hoping that the bits fitted to my own system help the intake system for smoother airflow.

^^^^ I Doubt we'll be seeing any additional ponnies from the Mistress, her poor little Turbo is pretty maxed as is but who knows, WMI and BT then maybe.

Another choice selection of mods there Martin! Must admit I have the CTS Turbo Throttle Pipe waiting to be fitted to mine. Looks very basic, but much larger than the original plastic piece. Won't achieve much on mine until mapped, but must be another mod on yours that just gets to the full potential of the set-up. Awesome work!

Cheers Danny. Will only consider a BT (possibly LOBA or Garrett) if mine gives up the ghost. May have WMI added at a later date though.

Hi Martin - in honesty...not as far along as I'd like! The breakdown & LPFP replacement & sensor was an unexpected bill. Still - have all parts ready to go, but need to fit brakes first. These were planned for December, until the LPFP issue, where I lost the love a bit.
Think brakes will be fitted in January, finances depending, and then see how I feel. I do want to get Stage 2+ done, but I feel there's no point until the seasons with better weather now!!
