How to Guides / Troubleshooting / 2007 FSI - Looking for tips on seating Low Pressure Fuel Hose
« Last post by dadawg22 on February 24, 2026, 02:04:06 pm »My GTI's low pressure fuel line was beginning to split so I began the process of replacing it. Unfortunately I'm unable to fully seat it on the barbs of the high pressure fuel pump and wherever the other end goes.
Pic shows the progress I've made, the barb end was lubed with petroleum jelly before I began trying to seat the hose. It's pretty stuck and I'm also having trouble removing the hose to re-lube the barb.
Any advice would be seriously appreciated, this thing is driving me nuts.
