You need to work off the type that was originally fitted to the car.

Then the coding has to be done in one hit and in the order stated, as otherwise it just does not take for whatever reason.
The original module was 1K0-953-549-A and slip ring 1K0-959-653. Is there an easy way i can confirm if got a wrong or faulty part? I was following the website when ordering stuff and got the highline module (1K0-953-549-BD) and type 2 slip ring (K0-959-653-C). I do have another slip ring i got for free with the steering wheel, but its from a passat 3C0-959-653-B so not sure that it will work
